DIESEL PARTICLE FILTER AND CATALYTIC CLEANER SPRAY
FUELTREAT Diesel Particle Filter (DPF)/ Catalitic Converter (CAT) cleaner lifts and dissolves carbon particles and ash residues which are then expelled from the assembly by exhaust gas pressure.
Cleaning with FUELTREAT DPF/CAT cleaner restores the DPF/CAT system function.
DPF/Catalyst Cleaner is usable with all closed particulate filter systems.
User Instructions
1. Ensure the temperature is below 50 degrees Celsius.
2. Remove the temperature or pressure sensor to allow access to the DPF/CAT.
3. Insert the probe into the access hole and spray the product in a rearward direction toward the particulate filter or Catalytic matrix in 10-20 second bursts. Wait 10 seconds between spray applications. Repeat until the can is empty.
4. Replace the temperature or pressure sensor.
5. Start the engine and let it idle for 15 minutes. It is likely some vapor will be evident as the cleaning action takes effect.
6. Test drive the vehicle on the open road, at highway speeds, to complete the cleaning action.
